Duties:
- Greet and welcome clients and their pets to the veterinary clinic
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
- Collect and update client information, including medical history and client information
- Assist with filing and organizing paperwork
- Provide basic information to clients regarding pet care and veterinary services
- Coordinate with veterinarians and technicians to ensure smooth workflow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Fill prescriptions for patients, knowledge of medications a plus
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred. Salary negotiable with 4 years of Veterinary Recepionist experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Proficient in computer skills, knowledge in Cornerstone a plus
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and clients
